This two storied building was constructed after the tsunami tragedy of 2004. Its ground floor is dedicated to the memory of late Venerable Narada Thera and known as “Narada Samapuraya” . It has been built to accommodate public social events. The upper floor consists of residential or loading facilities for the pilgrims, a computer training center and the primary school library.

The Ground floor of this building constructed out of a donation made by the super cricketer and the former captain of the Sri Lanka team form his private funds, was completed and put in possession of the order Sangha on 03rd of April 2008. Messrs Mac Mohan of America and Najib Deen, Proprietor of dean group of companies and who is also in the international trade, also extended their support for this project.

This was constructed around 1950 for use by the Bhikkus of Jayasumanaramaya temple and other affiliated temples in connection with their disciplinary procedures.

The ground gloor of this two-storied building is a fully equipped alms hall (Dana Sala) – A hall for the partaking of alms, by the bhikkus The upper floor accommodates a well stocked library for use by the students of Jayasumanarama pirivena & Jayasumana Dhamma School. It is also open to the members of public of the area who wish to avail of the facilities there.
