About Temple   Sketch Plan of the Temple   Bhikkhu Community   Galpamuna – Chulasumanaramaya   Dhamma Assembly Hall     SKETCH PLAN Sketch Plan of Jayasumanaramaya - Buddhist Temple.   Residential Quarters of the Bhikkus and the Kitchen » A two stories building was constructed in the temple premises by "Caritas Sed Galle" a tsunami relief agency though the kind intervention of his eminence Harold Anthony, the archbishop of the Galle & the Father in charge of the Church of Mary Immaculate at Matara Rev. Douglas Hewawasam. The ground floor of this building is set apart as an Alms hall (Dana Sala) & its kitchen while the upper floor accommodates the residential quarters of the bhikkhu. This building serves as a classic example of how different religions cloud co-exit at a place.
